John Ahmad, CPA

John joined CMCC in September 2022 after gaining considerable experience in the Canadian banking sector. He is responsible for all financial matters at CMCC, Atrium MIC and CMCC Capital Funds, as well as various other operational functions.

He previously led the planning & analysis team at a mid-sized publicly traded bank, and most recently served as the CFO/COO at a start-up digital bank. Prior to that time, John started his career in public accounting and also built the portfolio management function at a private equity fund in the US.

John holds a Bachelors of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto, and an MBA from Emory University. He is also a qualified CPA.
